National Latino Peace Officer`s Assoc NLPOA Sacramento Sheriff`s Toy Project Golf Tournament

 

The tournament will take place at Empire Ranch Golf Course in Folsom, CA on Friday August 20, 2010 with an 8:00 a.m. shotgun start time.

The registration deadline for this four-Person Team Scramble Tournament is August 13, 2010. Do not be left out. Get your registrations in early.

In addition to playing on one of Northern California`s most beautiful courses, you will be contributing to the NLPOA`s scholarship fund and The Sheriff`s Toy Project.

NLPOA`s mission is to develop resources that are used to provide scholarships to increase educational opportunities for individuals committed to giving back to the community. The Sacramento Sheriff`s Toy Project’s mission is to serve less fortunate children throughout the year, especially during the holiday season where we provide food and toys to needy families.

The partnership between NLPOA Sacramento Chapter and The Sacramento Sheriff`s Toy Project was a natural fit. Over the years, the NLPOA has provided thousands of dollars in scholarships to support the academic efforts of bright and talented students. The Sheriff`s Toy Project has provided thousands of dollars and thousands of items ranging from toys to bicycles to refurbished computers to do their part in hoping no child goes without.

We are hopeful the 2010 golf tournament will be a tremendous success. Our tournaments in the past have left the golfers looking forward to the next year. More importantly, the successes of the past have enabled the NLPOA and The Sheriff`s Toy Project to continue their efforts in providing support for tomorrow`s leaders.
